The Department of Cardiopulmonary Services is a multi-disciplinary department offering a wide range of services for both outpatients and inpatients and a full range of age groups, including newborn, pediatric, and geriatric.
The services offered by the department include:
A new service has recently been added with the addition of a 2-bed sleep disorder clinic, with sleep studies being scheduled 4 nights a week, Sunday through Wednesday night.
Examples of typical clinical entities which are diagnostically assessed/treated in our departmental practice would include chest pain, murmur, valvular disease, status/post by-pass graft surgery/heart attack, coronary artery disease, asthma, COPD, pneumonia, emphysema, respiratory failure, congestive heart failure, and syncope.
